Next October 4th, Amanat Al Asimah will open its doors to a different festival, one that resembles Yemen in its deep essence: the Second Yemen Khairat Festival.
During five days, from 4 to 8 October 2025 AD, the place will not be just a buying and selling arena, but rather a vast canvas that tells the story of the land and man together, and tells the world that Yemen is the country of coffee, honey, pomegranates, saffron and dates, a country of inexhaustible goodness.
This festival was born from a simple but profound idea to reintroduce Yemen first to the Yemenis, and then to the world. That the farmer who plows his land every morning meets the investor who is looking for an opportunity, and that Yemeni products sit on the export table, not in the corners of neglect. Here, goods are not only offered for sale, but a database is built for farmers, and their problems are known, from soil to transportation, from seeds to packaging, so that the whole process turns into a strategic project wrapped in the flavor of agricultural marketing.
In the crowd of commercial deals that the festival will witness, heritage will appear in all its glory. Traditional costumes take us back to the depths of history, popular melodies that recall the voices of our ancestors, and traditional dishes that remind us that the Yemeni taste is no less a part of identity than poetry, architecture, and music. It is a celebration of collective memory, and an invitation to discover the homeland again, from the farthest part of Saada to the farthest Mahra, and from Taiz to Hadhramaut.
But most important of all, the Yemen Bounties Festival will become a place of unity in which Yemenis from different governorates will gather, put aside their differences, and come together around what unites them: the land and its resources. It is a message that tells the world that this people is able to eat from what they grow, and wear from what they make, and that self-sufficiency is a goal that cannot be compromised or postponed.
In times of aggression and siege, this festival becomes more than just an event. It is a declaration of a life that defies aggressors, of a country that says to the world: “This is Yemen, which you knew as the land of Sindh and Madad. It is also a land of giving and beauty, a country capable of rising with the will of its people, with the bounties of its land, and with its deep belief that tomorrow is more beautiful despite all the challenges.”
So...this is how the second Yemen Khairat Festival becomes a different message, voice, and image. It is not a market that ends with closing its doors, but rather an open promise that the earth is still fine, and that the Yemenis, no matter how severe the attacks are, will only be at the forefront, carrying the slogan of a hand that protects and a hand that builds!
