Today, the mayor of the capital, Sana’a, head of the local council, Dr. Hammoud Muhammad Abbad, and the first deputy of the capital’s secretariat, Mr. Khaled Al-Madani, opened the “The Best What Our Hands Have Produced” festival, organized by the Al-Sabeen Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society, in Al-Zahrawi Park in the Al-Sabeen District.

Today, the mayor of the capital, Sana’a, head of the local council, Dr. Hammoud Muhammad Abbad, and the first deputy of the capital’s secretariat, Mr. Khaled Al-Madani, opened the “The Best What Our Hands Have Produced” festival, organized by the Al-Sabeen Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society, in Al-Zahrawi Park in the Al-Sabeen District.
During the opening, the Mayor of the Capital and his entourage were briefed on a number of local exhibits and products offered by productive families, which reflect the level of creativity, craft skills, and productivity in the fields of food industries, handicrafts, and other national products.
The opening ceremony witnessed the presence of a number of agents and officials of the Municipality of the Capital, in addition to the Director General of the Unit for Financing Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives in the Municipality of the Capital, Eng. Abdullah Sharaf El-Din, and his deputy, Mr. Samir Ahmed Hamza, and a number of those interested in supporting and empowering productive families and enhancing their role in local economic development.
The festival continues from the 19th to the 28th of Ramadan, and aims to support and market the products of productive families and encourage the community to turn to local products, thus contributing to enhancing economic empowerment and stimulating small productive initiatives.
The festival is held with funding from the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in the Capital Secretariat, in cooperation with the General Authority for Small and Micro Enterprise Development, as part of efforts aimed at supporting community initiatives and expanding marketing opportunities for national products.
