Head of the Social Affairs Committee - Deputy Head of the Development Team in the Capital Secretariat, Hamoud Al-Naqib, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Ghassan Al-Madani, reviewed the level of preparations for the 70th Exhibition.

Head of the Social Affairs Committee - Deputy Head of the Development Team in the Capital Municipality, Hamoud Al-Naqeeb, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Ghassan Al-Madani, reviewed the level of preparations for the Al-Sabeen Ramadan Exhibition for Productive Families in its first season, which is held by the Al-Sabeen Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society.
The Captain and Al-Madani, along with the Secretariat’s Undersecretary for the Financial Sector, Mazen Noman, and Agricultural Affairs, Muhammad Saree, and the Directors of the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Unit in the Secretariat, Abdullah Sharaf Al-Din, the Social Affairs and Labor Office, Nasser Al-Kahili, the Directorate, Muhammad Al-Washli, the Gardens Directorate, Rami Al-Jundi, and the Agricultural Sector Officer in the Secretariat, Muhammad Hajar, were briefed on the distribution of pavilions and the organization of the spaces allocated for families participating in the exhibition.
They listened to an explanation from those concerned about the work plan and coordination mechanisms between the concerned parties to make the exhibition activities a success, which is being held in September 26 Park in Al-Zahrawi neighborhood and is scheduled to be officially opened tomorrow, Saturday.
They pointed out that the exhibition aims to support the economic empowerment of productive families, and to strengthen institutional partnership in implementing initiatives that have a development impact, in coordination with the relevant authorities, and with the participation of official and development bodies.
In a related context, the Director of the Bani Al-Harith Directorate, Hamad bin Rakan, reviewed the ongoing preparations for holding the “Eid Joy” festival for productive families, which is organized by the Bani Al-Harith Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society.
The festival, which will be held in Al-Samad Park in the Daris region during the period 17-22 of the month of Ramadan, and with funding from the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit of the Secretariat and the General Authority for Small and Micro Enterprise Development, aims to support the economic empowerment of productive families and strengthen institutional partnership in implementing initiatives that have a development impact.
Rakan stressed the importance of the festival in marketing local products and providing citizens’ needs at competitive prices and high-quality national products, thus contributing to encouraging an increase in local production and supporting productive families.
He praised the presence of the President of the Bani Al-Harith Cooperative Society, Dr. Sadiq Al-Jadhami, for the level of organization and equipment for the festival and the role of the association in holding it, calling on the people of the directorate and the capital secretariat to interact and participate in the festival and make its activities a success.
