Today, the Chairman of the Social Affairs Committee - Deputy Head of the Development Team in the Capital Municipality, Hammoud Al-Naqeeb, and the Undersecretary of the Municipality, Mazen Noman, reviewed a number of development projects being implemented at the Agricultural Veterinary Institute in Shu’ub District.

Today, the Chairman of the Social Affairs Committee - Deputy Head of the Development Team in the Capital Municipality, Hammoud Al-Naqeeb, and the Undersecretary of the Municipality, Mazen Noman, reviewed a number of development projects being implemented at the Agricultural Veterinary Institute in Shu’ub District.
Where Captain Waman, Assistant Undersecretary Sami Sharaf El-Din, Executive Director of the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in the Secretariat, Abdullah Sharaf El-Din, his deputy Samir Hamza, and Director of the Institute, Hussein Al-Atheeb, inspected the level of implementation of projects in the field of economic empowerment funded by the Agricultural Unit.
They reviewed a project to purchase 14 cows to increase dairy production, a project to propagate and distribute local chickens to targeted families, rehabilitate barns for raising and multiplying livestock, create and rehabilitate agricultural reserves at the Veterinary Institute, as well as the manufacturing and milking industries departments and their needs, and the mechanism for implementing their rehabilitation project.
The Chairman of the Social Affairs Committee explained that these projects are part of the economic empowerment programs implemented by the Municipality of the Capital through the Agricultural Projects Financing Unit, which contributes to achieving sustainable development and achieving self-sufficiency.
While the Executive Director of the Unit indicated that the visit comes within the framework of the continuous follow-up of the implementation of rehabilitation and development projects in the Agricultural Veterinary Institute and the plant and animal production departments funded by the Unit.
