Today, the tender committee in the capital secretariat, headed by the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Amin Jamaan, opened the envelopes for two tenders for the slaughterhouse office in the secretariat, at an estimated cost of 223 million riyals.
The two projects include rehabilitating and operating the treatment plant in the central slaughterhouse in Dar Salam, and purchasing and supplying two trucks (dump + white) with a capacity of six tons for the treatment plant, with funding from the local council through the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in the secretariat.
The Tenders Committee, in the presence of the heads of the Social Affairs, Planning, Development and Services Committees, Hammoud Al-Naqeeb, Sharaf Al-Hadi, Adel Al-Aqari, and the Undersecretary for Agricultural Affairs, Muhammad Saree, referred the envelopes to the Technical Analysis Committee to study and evaluate the submitted offers.
Jamaan stressed adherence to the conditions and specifications specified in the tender documents and completing the necessary procedures to begin implementation in a way that contributes to improving the services of the slaughterhouse office and operating the processing station for the central slaughterhouse.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Slaughterhouses Office in the Capital Municipality, Ahmed Idris, and the Deputy Director of the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit, Engineer Fadl Al-Najjar.
