Today, the local authority in the capital secretariat concluded a specialized training course in the field of raising the capabilities of the administrative bodies of associations - the women’s side, under the auspices of the mayor of the capital and head of the local council, Dr. Hammoud Muhammad Abbad, and with funding from the Agricultural and Fisheries Finance, Projects and Initiatives Unit, and in cooperation with the Women’s Authority.
Today, the local authority in the capital secretariat concluded a specialized training course in the field of raising the capabilities of the administrative bodies of associations - the women’s side, under the auspices of the mayor of the capital and head of the local council, Dr. Hamoud Muhammad Abbad, and with funding from the agricultural and fisheries finance, projects and initiatives unit in the secretariat, and in cooperation with the women’s body.
The course, which was implemented within the Associations Support and Development Program, aimed to qualify a number of (10) female trainees from various directorates of the Capital Municipality, with the aim of enhancing their administrative and organizational skills, and enabling them to contribute effectively to developing the associations’ performance and serving the local community.
The course was implemented by the Bonyan Academy for Training and Qualification, during the period from 11 Ramadan to 5 Dhul-Qi'dah 1447 AH, where participants received a package of knowledge and practical applications in the areas of effective management, planning, and institutional capacity building.
The closing words stressed the importance of these specific programs in empowering women and enhancing their role in development work, which contributes to raising the efficiency of associations and improving the quality of community initiatives, praising the role of the supporting and implementing agencies in making the course a success and achieving its goals.
At the conclusion of the event, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the participants, with an emphasis on continuing to implement such training programs that contribute to building the capabilities of women’s cadres and developing institutional work in the Municipality of the Capital.
