They heard from the Director of the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in the municipality, Engineer Abdul-Malik Al-Ansi, an explanation about the completion of the construction of the water harvesting basin, and the completion rate in the canal of 90 percent. Funded by the local council and the unit.

They also reviewed the implementation progress of the project to establish a study hall at the College of Agriculture at Sana’a University, to expand the absorptive capacity, at a cost of 59 million and 631 thousand riyals. Funded and supervised by the Agricultural Unit in the secretariat, as well as the study halls established by the unit in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Sana’a University.

Al-Houthi, Al-Qaisi and Abbad urged engineers and project workers to intensify efforts and raise the pace of work. To quickly complete the work according to engineering conditions and the specified period.

They were accompanied by the Secretariat’s Undersecretary for Agricultural Affairs, Muhammad Saree, and the two Assistant Undersecretaries for the Services Sectors, Abdullah Al-Houthi, and Projects, Engineer Abdullah Rawiyah, and the Cleaning Project Manager, Ibrahim Al-Sarabi, and a number of concerned parties.

In the same context, the Minister of the Interior, Major General Abdul Karim, the Local Administration, Ali Al-Qaisi, and the Mayor of the Capital, Hammoud Abbad, continued today the implementation of a number of service and agricultural projects in the Municipality of the Capital, at a cost of one billion and 490 million riyals, with local funding.

Al-Houthi, Al-Qaisi, and Abbad, along with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Radwan Al-Rubai, the First Undersecretary, Khaled Al-Madani, and the Assistant Undersecretary for the Services Sector, Abdullah, were briefed on the progress of work in the project to complete the Al-Nasr Bridge, the first phase, at a cost of more than one billion and 300 million riyals, with local funding and central support.

They heard from the Undersecretary of the Works and Projects Sector, Engineer Abdul Karim Al-Houthi, and the engineers an explanation about the completion rate in the Al-Nasr Bridge project, which reached 70 percent, and the implementation of concrete pouring works for the lower layer on the western side of the bridge.
