The meeting reviewed the most prominent problems and obstacles facing the implementation of the project, where they were discussed in detail, and a number of technical solutions and treatments were approved to overcome them, ensuring accelerating the pace of work and completing the project according to the specified timetables.
According to the minutes of the meeting, work on the project will be resumed by the executive unit starting today, with the necessary measures being taken to ensure continuity of implementation at a high pace.
The attendees stressed the importance of the project in enhancing efforts to harvest rainwater and benefit from it, which contributes to supporting water resources and improving services in the Bani Al-Harith District, stressing the need to redouble efforts and integrate roles between the concerned authorities to achieve it as required.
The rainwater harvesting basin project in the Bani Al-Harith District is funded by the local authority in the Municipality of the Capital through the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit, while it is implemented by the Executive Unit for the construction, maintenance and development of roads and public places in the Municipality.
